Heiss, kalt, Regen, Sonne…. nicht gerade das was sich der Grill w\u00fcnscht. Der Deckel unseres OFYR Grill <\/a>war mittlerweile so richtig abgeschossen. Ist auch ok, schliesslich ist er tagt\u00e4glich der Witterung ausgesetzt. Ich zeige dir, wie du ihm eine Frischekur verpasst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mit einem Scotch-Brite Handpad<\/a> die Oberfl\u00e4che etwas angeraut, sodass die Oberfl\u00e4che die neue Farbe gut aufnimmt und auch allenfalls Schmutzpartikel, bzw. auch teilweise etwas Flugrost entfernt wird.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In einem n\u00e4chsten Schritt die Oberfl\u00e4che mit einem Reinigungsmittel gereinigt und darauf geachtet, dass diese sicher auch fettfrei ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zuerst wollte ich den Deckel neu sprayen, entschied mich dann dennoch f\u00fcr malen<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Als letzten Schritt hiess es den Deckel neu streichen. Ich entschied mich schlussendlich f\u00fcr streichen.
Als Farbe w\u00e4hlte ich eine wetterbest\u00e4ndige Farbe (schwarz, seidenmatt)<\/a>. Zum Auftragen entschied ich mich f\u00fcr eine feine Rolle.
Vorsichtig trug ich 2 Schichten auf mit einer entsprechenden Zwischentrocknungszeit dazwischen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Der Deckel ist nun wieder richtig schwarz, perfekt passend zum Cortenstahl aus dem der OFYR Grill selbst ist. Dort ist der alterungsprozess, bzw. die Korrosion gewollt.

Fazit<\/strong>
Kleiner Aufwand mit einem grossen WOW Effekt. Der Grill wirkt so gleich wieder viel hochwertiger. Ein weiterer Nebeneffekt. Der Deckel ist nun wieder gegen die Witterungseinfl\u00fcsse gesch\u00fctzt. Er kann nicht mehr rosten. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ein sch\u00f6ner Deckel ist zwar schon gut und recht. Noch sch\u00f6ner ist es jedoch, wenn der Deckel nicht auf dem Grill ist sondern daneben steht. Denn dann bedeutet es, dass der Grill im Einsatz ist.
